Are you looking for freedom? Find out how you can be your own boss, earn unlimited income, follow your own schedule, and be an integral part of community-building.

When Danielle Girard was younger, she didn’t have any particular career path in mind. But there was one thing she was sure of. She wanted to dress up nicely, carry a pretty satchel, and be her own badass boss.

Now, at 25, she’s starting to make those dreams come true. Danielle just bought her own house and passed the final exam for her real estate license in Central Alberta in March 2022.

What a way to achieve freedom and get started on building her own empire!

“I recently bought my own house and it inspired me to try out a career in real estate. Having done business with my realtor, I felt like real estate is right up my alley – being in front of people and helping them facilitate their real estate needs and goals,” Danielle said noting her experience as a sales consultant in a furniture sales.

Real estate is THE ultimate career for self-starters. Millennials and Gen Zs are dubbed as the “entrepreneurial generations” making a real estate career a good starting path to success for the youngest generation of entrepreneurs.

Like what Danielle dreamed of when she was younger, it is in real estate where you can be your own boss. You can also earn unlimited income, follow your own schedule, and be an integral part of community-building.

With her 10-year experience in sales, Danielle felt like she was finally ready to pursue a new career.

“I felt like I’ve been doing the same for 10 years and I want to apply my skills to something relatable. I went online and saw Lapp Realty’s ad looking for real estate agents,” Danielle recalled.

“I clicked on it and saw that they are willing to mentor you while you’re taking the course for the real estate license. I was like ‘Oh my god, this is exactly what I need!” she went on.

Lapp Realty guides newly hired real estate agents to ace the licensing exam while learning the skills to be a successful realtor.

Within a short period of time, Danielle got her license. She’s very thankful that she has hands-on mentors and supportive colleagues who are always there to assist her whenever she has questions.

“Lapp Realty mentors you in a way where you are not afraid to ask questions. They have everything simplified and organized. When you read it, it’s not confusing. They break down the process so that it becomes clearer to learn along the way,” Danielle testified.

“Kevin always encourages us to ask questions. Chrystal provides us with all the answers. Then there’s Jayden who is also learning it all from scratch like we all are, making our goals more realistic. Kallie has been giving good advice on whom to talk to and how she does her job daily,” Danielle expounded how each of the team members input helped her pass the license exam.

“Nathan is like a dad in the way he talks. It’s like a family kind of feeling. The big guys like Viv and Carson, Hannah, and Nicole are great at setting an example. I want to be like them soon,” she went on.

As a young entrepreneur in a busy real estate world, Danielle proves that nothing is too scary to try on. For her, real estate is exciting and is something young business-minded people like herself should give a shot.

“Real estate is actually not that scary. It’s a wonderful thing to learn, it’s very fun and it’s something that is going to make you excited,” Danielle said.

More than wearing pretty dresses and being her own boss, Danielle looks forward to all the exciting things she can do as a realtor, especially using her skillset to serve and support her clients in their real estate goals.

“I am excited to start my new life. Right now, I’m excited to go and say I can actually do this. I can talk to people about buying and selling their dream homes,” Danielle exclaimed.
